1. Is TOGO noisy?
There is no crushing or grinding and hence the TOGO is absolutely silent.
2. How long does it take for the waste to convert into compost?
The process reduces the volume of waste by 85-90% by evaporating water and discharging warm air. The remaining 10-15% is turned into compost. This whole process takes from 12 to 24 hours for food waste to be converted into compost.
3. What happens if the machine is loaded with excess material?
TOGO Composter is designed to handle 20% excess material. However, if more organic waste is loaded, output compost will not be fully cured. Also, there are chances of foul smell.
4. Can the output be used immediately?
The output can be used immediately. However, a further curing period ranging from 2 to 4 weeks is recommended.
5. Does TOGO give out any harmful gases?
No gases as there is aerobic digestion taking place i.e. continuous air intake and air outlet.
